We're working through Startup Tech Issues today. Pat Ricketts working with Robert Young & Barbara Young to setup Computers, Email, Laptops while Ivan Malone is configuring and diagnosing problems on the server side.

Our Infrastructure is designed with Domain Driven Design Principles in mind - so from that perspective, and from the perspective of domain and business management much of our online activities involve around logging into one place or another with our Sunset High Co accounts. This creates a distinction from personal accounts, which can and does get messy and confusing quickly.

Your our domain emails instead of our sunsethighco@gmail.com email we have been using up to now will give us a more professional look, feel, process and structure and allow us to identify who is logging into what, from where, what their doing and what they should have access to.

Also it will help with customer perception, the customer knowing who to contact, where and how and that they are talking to a member of our support team and not some random person.

info@sunsethighco.ca is the main public facing email.

Robert and Barb have emails at robert@sunsethighco.ca and barbara@sunsethighco.ca

Behind the scenes there are a number of other emails that make systems work, such as noreply@sunsethighco.ca which handles automated emails from Wordpress, The Hub, The Cloud or our Mail Lists which need to go out. So when a system sends you a username or a password reset, it is from that email it comes from. Or when you send an email to info@sunsethighco.ca it gets to Robert, Barb, Myself or all of us. Some emails are in use by Humans daily, others by automated systems.

Its a bit of setup and testing to be sure. But it is important to get things right from the start.

Our Website, Store, Cloud, Hub, all need these things before we even begin to open the doors and let regular folk in. So its important to iron out any issues, problems or faults we're likely to run into now where possible.
