History Comes Alive:
Step into the past at The Mockbeggar Plantation Provincial Historic Site, a pivotal fishery plantation since the 1700s that shaped Bonavista's development. The main house, restored to its 1939 appearance when F. Gordon Bradley, a Newfoundland statesman advocating Confederation with Canada, lived here. Experience the era when the decision to join Canada or remain independent was a hot topic.

Admission:

Cost: Adult $6, seniors/students $4, child (16 & under) free. Seasons pass to all 12 Provincial Historic Sites $25.
